As a Geologist/Project Manager at HydroCon, Rob is responsible for oversight of exploratory drilling and well installation in addition to soil, soil vapor, air, groundwater, surface water and sediment sampling. He also overseas operation, maintenance and oversight of installation of remediation systems, regulatory compliance activities and manages project budgets, work plan developments and report writing. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Geology.
Rob has over 15 years of experience in Washington and Oregon as a geologist and project manager. He utilizes his strong field geology background to manage environmental investigations and remediation projects. Rob is well organized and has a strong mechanical aptitude. His field experience includes managing large-scale pilot tests and feasibility studies for site remediation, site characterization, oversight of drilling and excavation contractors, UST decommissioning, ISCO injection activities, vapor intrusion studies, and remediation system design/installation/operation & maintenance/system modification and repairs, and training junior staff.
His project management and technical support role responsibilities include budgeting, scope of work and work plan development, task management, litigation support, data gap analysis, report preparation, client/regulator/contractor interface and correspondence, and health and safety plan development.
