Mr. Daschel has over six years of professional experience working in environmental consulting, with four previous years of experience in the oil/gas exploration industry.
Mr. Daschel is involved in the management, planning, and execution of Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESA), remedial activities, and regulatory compliance for sites located in Oregon and Washington. Chris’ field work involves subsurface investigations which include supervision of drilling activities (direct push, hollow stem auger, and mud rotary), remediation oversight, groundwater well sampling, soil sampling and classification, and documentation. Additional experience includes complex technical report writing, emergency spill response oversight and sampling, construction and safety oversight, and remediation work planning for numerous sites, including PCB/radioactive site characterization on a Department of Energy site in California.
In the oil/gas exploration industry Mr. Daschel was responsible for creating a detailed geologic log of wells during active drilling that included geologic interpretation of borehole cuttings, drilling parameter information, well construction, and hydrocarbon analysis of geologic formations. Mr. Daschel was also responsible for monitoring gases on-site, a crucial part in maintaining on-site site safety.
