Gasoline Release

• Subsurface investigation to determine the nature and extent of petroleum contamination in soil and groundwater.
• Coordination and implementation of remedial excavation including:
  • Permitting
  • Installation of shoring
  • Removal and disposal of 200 tons of gasoline contaminated PCS
  • Recovery of 200 gallons of gasoline
• Install groundwater monitoring wells and perform quarterly monitoring.
• Perform pilot test to obtain radius of vacuum influence, airflow rates, and contaminant vapor concentrations.
• Design, install and perform operation and maintenance (O&M) and collect compliance air samples of an air sparge/soil vapor extraction remediation system to remediate inaccessible petroleum contaminated soils and groundwater.
• Regulatory compliance, monitoring, reporting and communications.

 

Diesel Release

• Subsurface investigation to determine the nature and extent of petroleum contamination in soil and groundwater.
• Install groundwater monitoring wells and perform quarterly monitoring.
• Install four inch recovery wells.
• Installed product skimmers and recovered over 1100 gallons of free product.
• Utilize a mobile dual phase remediation system to extract contaminated, filter clean and re-inject groundwater at up to 15 gallons/minute.
• Injected over 60,000 gallons of surfactant, using a Geoprobe, to enhance recovery of free product trapped in the pore spaces.
• Recovered over 30,000 gallons of free product.
