SERVICES RENDERED:
- Stormwater and process water inventory:
- Created maps identifying stormwater and process wastewater sources, conveyance infrastructure and drainage basins.
- Inventory keyed to map locations describing the existing and potential pollutant sources to the discharges, both process water and stormwater.
- Description of the existing treatment and operational Best Management Practices (BMPs) applied in each drainage basin.
- Discharge characterization and source evaluation:
- Dye testing to identify all sources of stormwater
- Influent/effluent samples to determine effective removal rates of stormwater conveyance structures
- Treatability studies to evaluate the potential effectiveness of specific end- of-pipe treatment technologies
- Report preparation:
- Determination of other potential means of discharge
- Description of a range of viable technology-based options to prevent, control, and treat pollutants from the identified discharge areas, including; source controls, operational controls, structural controls, and treatment measures
- Engineering economic analysis addressing the cost for the management options identified
- Environmental analysis addressing the benefit to the receiving water of the pollutant controlled, prevented or treated for each option.
- An analysis of practices of comparable industrial facilities for the similar sources of process wastewater and stormwater.
- A detailed analysis and screening of the alternative options using a scoring matrix that ranks each option against the following three evaluation criteria: Technical Effectiveness, Implementability, and Cost.
- Feasibility of each BMP option in its ability to adapt to future permit or regulatory changes.
- Update SWPPP and Site Map
